In 2012, David & Diane Keiter established the Tasha Keiter Memorial Youth Golf Fund (TKMYGF) to honor their daughter, Tasha Keiter.  Tasha played golf on the collegiate level, but her dream was to coach and teach youth golf. 

With assistance from area PGA Professionals, the Keiter Family selected the SNAG Golf (Starting New At Golf) program to share Tasha’s love of golf, sportsmanship, honesty, and etiquette with young people.  The program fits her passion for teaching golf and is able to benefit a broad range of schools.  SNAG Golf has built a premier learning system and has proved to be the superior method when teaching golf fundamentals in a fun and easy way, using age-appropriate equipment kits.

With the season rapidly approaching, we are seeking your help as a Corporate Contributor to support the Tasha Keiter Memorial Youth Golf Fund.  Since its inception in 2012, the TKMYGF has successfully provided curriculum and equipment to all ten Kearney Public Elementary Schools and 6 outlying Elementary Schools.  Through the SNAG Golf program, over 3,000 Kearney area elementary students have experienced the excitement of golf in their Physical Education classes.  Our goal for this year’s 2019 tournament is to purchase replacement equipment for current programs and assist with scholarships for clubs and lesson for High School Student Athletes qualifying for assistance in the Kearney area. 

This year the 7th Annual Tasha Keiter Memorial Golf Tournament registration will begin at 10:00 am Friday June 28, 2019, at the Kearney Country Club.   Last year’s attendance was well over 150 people and this year we anticipate a record number of golfers, contributors and auction participants. 

As a Corporate Contributor, your business will be recognized on all promotional materials, tournament signage, the Tasha Keiter blog site, Tasha Keiter Facebook site, post tournament advertisement in the Kearney Hub and live media coverage the day of the tournament.  All Corporate Contributors are invited to attend the raffle, silent auction and SNAG Golf equipment demonstrations throughout the afternoon.

In order to assure your donation is properly recognized throughout the event, please make your contributions prior to Monday, June  24, 2019.
